SlimTrack — Weight Loss & Fitness Tracker (Developed by Gree Web Solutions)
This Privacy Policy explains how SlimTrack ("the App"), developed and maintained by Gree Web Solutions, collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal health information. By using SlimTrack, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and encrypted password. This information is used solely for authentication and account management.
Health & Fitness Data
SlimTrack collects health metrics you voluntarily enter: body weight logs, height, age, gender, goal weight, BMI, daily calorie targets, and water intake. This data is processed locally on your device first and synced to our secure servers only when you're logged in.
Workout & Diet Logs
Exercise sessions, workout plans, completed exercises, meal logs (food name, calories, macros), and intermittent fasting sessions are stored securely and linked to your account.
Usage Analytics
We collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (feature usage counts, crash reports) to improve the app. This data cannot be linked to individual users.
2. How We Use Your Information
Core App Functionality
Your health data powers SlimTrack's personalized features: calorie targets, BMI tracking, workout progression, water intake goals, and streak tracking. Data is used exclusively to provide these services.
Personalization
We use your profile data (age, weight, height, activity level) to calculate Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), and recommended daily water intake using Mifflin-St Jeor and standard medical formulas.
No Advertising Use
SlimTrack does not use your health data for targeted advertising. We do not serve ads based on your fitness goals, weight, or health conditions.
3. Data Storage & Security
Local-First Architecture
SlimTrack uses a local-first approach. Guest users' data is stored entirely on-device using SharedPreferences. Logged-in users have their data synced to our MongoDB database hosted on secure infrastructure.
Password Security
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (industry-standard cost factor) before storage. We never store plain-text passwords. Our systems cannot retrieve or view your password.
Transport Security
All communication between the SlimTrack app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Data at rest is stored in encrypted MongoDB collections.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion request, all personal data including weight entries, meal logs, and health metrics are permanently deleted within 30 days.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We Do Not Sell Your Data
SlimTrack does not sell, rent, or trade your personal health information to any third party, advertiser, data broker, or analytics company.
Service Providers
We use MongoDB Atlas for database hosting and standard cloud infrastructure. These providers process data solely to provide services to us under strict data processing agreements.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose data only when required by law, court order, or government regulation. We will notify you of such requests to the extent permitted by law.
5. Your Rights & Controls
Data Access & Export
You can view all your stored data within the SlimTrack app (Profile → Progress → Data). Contact us to request a complete data export in JSON format.
Data Correction
Edit your profile, weight entries, and meal logs directly in the app at any time. All corrections are applied immediately.
Account Deletion
Delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers within 30 days. Guest data can be cleared from app settings.
GDPR & CCPA Rights
EU and California residents have the right to access, correct, delete, or port their personal data. Contact info@greewebsolutions.com to exercise these rights.
6. Notifications & Communications
Push Notifications
SlimTrack may send workout reminders, water intake nudges, and streak notifications. All push notifications are opt-in and can be disabled from your device settings or app Profile.
No Marketing Emails
We only send transactional emails (password reset, account confirmation). We do not send marketing newsletters without explicit consent.
7. Data Deletion
How to Delete Your Data
Open SlimTrack → Profile tab → tap your profile → Account Settings → Delete Account. Alternatively, email info@greewebsolutions.com with subject 'Data Deletion Request' from your registered email.
What Gets Deleted
Upon deletion: User account, all weight entries, meal logs, water logs, workout logs, streak history, and profile data are permanently and irreversibly erased.
Backup Warning
Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please export your data before requesting deletion if you wish to keep a copy.
8. Children's Privacy
Age Restriction
SlimTrack is designed for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us immediately for removal.
